Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

•The candidate must be an Atlassian SME, with experience in instances on both Data Centre and Cloud

Migration Leadership:

? Lead and manage installing and configuring, administering, and integrating Jira and Confluence products

? Lead the migration of all Jira projects to the new SDLC, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruptions.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement the necessary changes for project

migration.

Configuration and Customization:

? Lead implementation, management, and support of products and plugins across the entire Atlassian suite of tools

? Manage and customize Jira configurations to align with the new SDLC optimizing workflows and issue types.

? Implement automation rules and scripts to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.

? Identify ways to optimize and improve Atlassian setup, process workflows as well as identify where functionality

can or cannot meet user requests.

? Develop performance indicators, dashboards, and advanced filters in Jira/Confluence to provide end-users and

business leadership with informative data. Vendor coordination to maintain integration JIRA with other services,

backups, add-ons, upgrades and periodic maintenance tasks.

? Design and implement custom workflows, fields, global permission, permission schemes, post functions, plugin

installation, and test, etc.

User Training and Support:

? Provide training and support to end-users on the new SDLC processes within Jira.

? Address and resolve user issues, ensuring a positive user experience throughout the migration.

? Provide user management, training, and support for Atlassian Suite

? Provide recommendations to end users and leaders on standard practices and processes within the Atlassian Suite

? Transfer knowledge and help teams continuously reflect and improve processes, and becoming more effective in

their roles by increasing outcomes, collaboration, and quality practices

? Communicate effectively when reviewing customer requirements to be translated into technical requirements

Documentation:

? Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the new Jira configurations and processes.

? Document best practices and guidelines for users to follow in the post-migration phase.

? Properly define/document new policies, run books, change requests, and requirements documents

Integration Management:

? Collaborate with other tools and systems integrated with Jira to ensure a seamless data flow and integration with

the new SDLC.

? Collaborate with senior leaders and various teams to implement Jira workflows and project configurations to

improve efficiency.

Technical Skills:

? In-depth knowledge of Jira configuration and customization.

? Proficiency in Jira plugins, automation, and scripting.

? Experience in using some of the main plug-ins that can be used within Atlassian tools such as Dataplane Reports,

Gliffy, Test Management for JIRA, Big Picture, Time In Status, Scriptrunner is required so that users can be

educated in their use, workflows can be optimised and reporting provided.

? Perform agile software development where work is managed in development sprints including backlog grooming,

sprint planning, sprint execution, deployments and sprint retrospectives

Communication and Collaboration:

? Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

? Experience in providing user training and support.

? The candidate must be confident about speaking to teams across both IT and the business about best practice and

how to optimise their project to work as efficiently as possible.

? Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile Teams and management to enhance release planning,

Agile ceremonies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices

? Work with various teams to identify procedural efficiencies with workflows, custom fields, and other requirements

Problem-Solving:

? Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.

? Proactive problem-solving skills to address challenges during the migration process.

Project Management:

? Project management skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope.

? Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

? Looking at each request to check if there is a better way of achieving the result either by reuse of existing flows etc

or by utilising plug-in functionality.

Must-Have Skills:

? 8+ years of proven experience as a Jira Administrator, preferably in a senior or leadership role.

? Successful track record of leading Jira migrations or significant system changes.

? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

? Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

? Excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?1,500,000.00 - ?2,400,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift
