About the role:
Solution Architect is the center of the SI delivery that owns the SI solution end\xe2\x80\x93to\xe2\x80\x93end. The solution Architect is the one, who understands the customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements, creates technical solutions and document them in Solution & design document. These documents shall be used by the Solution Integrators/Developers/System Architects to meet the customer requirements. The role will be a technical leader for the project. The solution Architect shall manage the Internal & External stakeholders of the project. The role demands positive & problem-solving mind-set, hands on delivery experience, understanding end \xe2\x80\x93 to \xe2\x80\x93 end customer requirements, risk-taking appetite and leading the delivery
Responsibilities:
Driving scope, define & design solution, driving end to end.
Customer engagement to secure agreements on solution proposed.
Prepare Technical presentations and proposals and perform customer presentations.
Lead the technical risk analysis and support Program Manager/Program Director in overall risk analysis process.
Manage Internal & External stakeholders to stitch/bridge gaps.
Identify New Business Opportunities.
Leading delivery team by assigning activities & reviewing the progress.
Lead Solution Acceptance (UAT) towards Customer.
Solution Handover to L1/L2/L3/CNS(Support)/Customer\xe2\x80\x99s O&M team.
Identify Scope Creep, Change Requests during delivery phase.
Support Pre-Sales Activities:
Create Work Breakdown structure
Document Scope of Work.
Prepare Efforts Estimation
Prepare Resource Loading
Identify Skill Set required for Project execution
Lead Customer Presentations & Demonstrations
Interface with 3PP/OEM\xe2\x80\x99s for evaluating and incorporating their solution in Ericsson\xe2\x80\x99s solution offering.
Act as a Solution Life Cycle Manager of the solution proposed/Implemented.
Proactive Competence development of self in new solution areas in the domain & technologies.
Mentor Solution Integrators, developers, system architects and provide transparent & open environment for growth and development
Authorities:
Responsible for the task assignments of Technical Leads, System Architects, Developers and System Architects.
Technical Owner of the solution in the project
Change Management.
Interfaces:
He/She shall interface with customer, Program Manager/Program Director, respective Manager/Team leads in support team, Account Technical Managers, Solution managers, Software Developers, Solutions Integrators and 3rd party suppliers.
Required education and experience:
8-14 Years of Telecom & IT experience in architecting VAS, Content Partner Management Solution & Service Delivery Domain experience.
IT experience architecting, developing, and implementing Java/J2EE based application development solution with focus on the Telecom domain to solve real world problems
Must be proficient in software architecture, application design, development, and implementation using technologies.
Hands on experience on below Java J2EE Skill set: Programming -Java, J2EE, Node JS, Programming -Java, J2EE, Node JS
Application Platform-Spring, Spring-boot, Spring- MVC, Jboss, Tomcat, FUSE
Messaging Brokers - Apache-MQ, AMQP - RabbitMQ,
Security: Spring Security, OAuth, LDAP
IPC - RESTful & Big Web Services, RMI, RPC
Data Formats: XML, JSON
JS Framework like React Native, Angular JS 1.0,2.0,6.0 would be an added advantage.
Cache-Redis etc.
ORM-Hibernate, Spring Data, JPA

Containerization/Docker
Database Layer -Postgres, MySQL, Cassandra, Mongo Db.
Must have solid technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Must be proficient across the entire software development lifecycle.
Working Experience in JIRA.
Expertise in OOAD using UML and in design patterns.
Exposure to tools like Microsoft Visio, Enterprise Architect, Eclipse, and Source code versioning systems like SVN/Clear Case.
Must possess excellent verbal / written communication. Must be able to build relationships and communicate effectively to management and developers. Must be able to summarize complex concepts into understandable concepts and actions.
Must have a strong ability to influence others outside your direct area of control and sustain win/win relationships.
Must be able to conduct technology benchmarking and industry analysis to help define the strategic direction for the team.
Must be a good teacher and mentor junior and senior level developers.
Must have experience with new technology evaluations; rent, buy, build analysis, and software package selection
Must have experience to handle 3PP\xe2\x80\x99s developer team and able to review the architect and code
Must be willing to occasionally travel within and outside India and alter daily work schedule to meet with customers
