Description:Seeking a professional with 14+ years of expertise in architecting large enterprise applications in both B2B and B2C scenarios, with a preference for candidates with experience in the EdTech domain & GCP.Requirements:

• Architectural Expertise: Deep knowledge of end-to-end SaaS platform/product offerings.
• Cloud Solutions: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), with a preference for Google Cloud (GCP) experience.
• Microservices & DevOps: Proficiency in microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Global Scale Architectures: Experience in rolling out architectures for globally consumed platforms.
• Learning Management Systems: Demonstrated ability in building Learning Management Systems (LMS) that are highly responsive, scalable, and suitable for a global audience.
• Multi-Tenant Architectures: Essential implementation knowledge of multi-tenant architectures for SaaS platforms.
• Full Stack Knowledge: Comprehensive working knowledge of all layers of enterprise applications, including front-end, middleware, microservices, databases, and data handling, encompassing security, monitoring, and caching.
• Technology Stack: Hands-on implementation experience with the Java Tech Stack (Spring Boot), MEAN/MERN stack, middleware technologies, SQL/NoSQL databases, etc.
• Platform Telemetry: Skilled in efficient platform telemetry capture, ingestion, and intelligence derivation.
• Data Handling & Dashboarding: Architectural and design expertise in handling large data volumes and dashboard creation.
• Change Management: Experience with Change Management processes for feature releases.
• Service Integrations: Strong background in designing and implementing integrations with external services.
• Software Development: Extensive experience with multiple full lifecycle software development processes, methodologies, and approaches (e.g., SCRUM).
• Digital Transformation: Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with technical teams and executive leadership.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance regulations and standards relevant to the education industry, such as GDPR, FERPA, and COPPA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Architect Technology Solutions: Design technology solutions aligned with business objectives, with a focus on cloud-based solutions for Enterprise Learning and Development.
• Strategic Planning: Lead the assessment and strategic planning of architectural projects, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Product Feature Design: Develop technology solutions for key product features and processes, and communicate them effectively to the product team.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor the cost of application infrastructure and consumption, and suggest optimizations.
• Project Implementation: Lead the implementation of solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to the "go-live" phase.
• Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to provide architectural leadership on key projects.
• Compliance and Security: Collaborate with IT compliance, Information Security, and Data Privacy teams to adhere to organizational standards and design considerations. Lead reviews and audits.
• Technical Oversight: Oversee development efforts and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Best Practices: Design and implement best practices for cloud security, disaster recovery, high availability, data retention, and service orchestration.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud architecture, particularly in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, providing guidance and mentorship to technical teams. GCP experience is preferred.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technology options and vendor products, recommending investments that enhance our customer offering and drive innovation.
• Documentation: Document architectural designs, processes, and protocols to ensure clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Facilitate architectural reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
