POSITION PURPOSE

As a member of the IS Architecture team, will be in charge of helping projects define their Solution Architecture and will review their proposals with the Enterprise Architects and Engineering/Production team to ensure that the solutions proposed are aligned with the Enterprise Strategy. Responsibilities

DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the solution architecture on the projects assigned to:

o Supporting the Project Manager/Business Analysts during solution ideation, design, and implementation o Collaborating with application teams and Business Analysts/tech leads of impacted applications to design the solution o Ensuring the alignment of projects with our architecture principles and IT standards

• Support project managers and tech leads along the architecture validation process by:

o Leading the build of a consistent architecture documentation o Presenting his projects in architecture validation committee o Being the reference point on a set of applications for support/evolution activities o Supporting the architecture process till the go-live o Bringing architecture awareness to application teams

• Being the reference architect on a set of applications for support/evolution activities (having low architecture impacts)

CONTRIBUTING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with following roles:

o Project managers/business analyst of major transversal projects assigned to o Tech leads/developers to understand the architecture of the applications/screens and analyze potential issues o Application owner to update the referential information on applications o Production team to check the availability of infrastructure/Cloud services when specific requirements are expressed o Enterprise Architects

• Ensure the reference documentation is updated all along the changes brought by projects:

o Application referential o IT architecture diagrams o Application non-conformities and remediation plans o Architecture principles, checklist, guidelines

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

Mandatory

  Broad technical knowledge and experience across application, development frameworks, technology
  Experience of Enterprise Architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices
  Functional/Business knowledge (of his current/past companies)
  Experience in modeling activities (application maps, software design models, data modeling, infrastructure diagrams, etc.)
  Experience running Request for Proposal and assessing solutions
  Strong analysis skills with problem solving attitude
  Ability to communicate effectively in written documents and oral presentations, explaining concepts clearly to audiences at various levels of technical knowledge
  Experience with Java/Spring/Angular, Oracle/PostgreSQL DB, Linux, API, Kafka etc.
  Experience on Cloud migration, integration patterns, high availability patterns etc.
  Effective leadership, planning and organization skills
  Interest in Financial & Banking industry
