This position is responsible for developing solutions and strategies for enterprise platforms \xe2\x80\x93 ERP in the finance domain. The person selected for this role will work with the business and technology leadership to conceptualize, design, and deliver extensible and scalable strategies and architectures that drive the overall direction of SAP ERP platforms.
The position will report Director, Enterprise Architecture and will be based in our Ecolab, Bangalore office.
What you will do:
Set and influence strategic direction for the enterprise platform by translating business needs into solution architecture requirements and understanding the long-term and short-term perspectives of our investments in the finance domain.
Analyze the current architectures in the finance domain to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement such as enhancing business processes, expanding capacity, reducing time & cost, and increasing overall effectiveness. Acts as an arbitrator, as needed, to bring the appropriate parties together to drive discussions to decisions in a timely manner.
Work closely with stakeholders and business IT leaders to develop architecture blueprints and realistic roadmaps for projects.
Required skills:-
Proficient in Finance (R2R process, P2P, OTC, asset and fund management)
Experience in central finance preferred.
Deep understanding of basic FICO processes covered or related to Financial Accounting modules GL/AP/AR/FA/Taxes
Hands on experience in Configuring FICO org elements, COA, Payment Run, EBS, Intercompany Clearing Accounts, Trading Partner, Default assignment to profit center, Default assignment to Cost object, Terms of Payment, Custom Table Updating, create tax code, Creation of GL Accounts, Creation of Cost Element
Material ledger Activation
Product Costing
Handling Month End activities - Updating the Posting Period Variant and Year end activities - Number Range maintenance, FI Carry forward of balance, Asset Year closing, Asset Year Opening
Experience in Automatic Payment Program, Direct Debit - SEPA, Idoc, Interfaces with external systems, Cash allocation, Batch processing, electronic invoicing process, Intrastat.
SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) - BCM, TRM
Experienced in On-prem & cloud solutions Implementations With 3rd Party Integration specially like MT940 / Bank Payment Gateway.
Should be able to consult with the finance business teams to build short- and long-term technology strategies.
Review and ensure SAP application architecture in line with industry standard architectural frameworks and are aligned with the overall IT strategy of the organization.
Capability road map of the enterprise portfolio from current to future state.

Design, implement, and manage finance module with integration solutions.
( For e.g, Integration with Vistex via middleware)
Develop product roadmaps, execution models, and cost estimates that are aligned with business strategy and guide execution teams in creation, validation, and deployment of global scalable solutions.
Work with technology partners (large and small) to identify the \xe2\x80\x9cright\xe2\x80\x9d products and technologies to adopt/ integrate into the overall solution.
Provide solution governance and EA compliance guidance as required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Candidate qualifications:
Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/CMA/MBA Finance with 7-8 years of SAP consulting experience in Finance & Controlling besides a good understanding of the business processes preferred.
Certification in SAP FICO domain and other industry finance body certifications preferred.
Has been in an architecture role for 3+ years designing finance solutions including experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations.
Experience with TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to business and IT leadership.
