Job Description

Position Summary This role is responsible for the designing and detailing of large diameter piping systems. Essential Responsibilities

• Create CAD model and Prepare drawing on Solidworks 2022
• Providing design and drafting for all piping deliverables including Plot Plans, Layouts, 3D Models, Isometrics, Details, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)
• providing complete fabrication drawings and ensuring that all work done on the shop floor is in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Regular site visits for field measurements and piping design
• Converting data from a cloud point format into CAD format (2D and 3D) and creating 3D models based on field survey data
• Checking of 2D drawings and 3D models for clashes and constructability
• Helping to ensure that all project scope items are addressed and quality objectives met
• Assisting with the preparation of Construction Work Packages, Material Requisitions and other Deliverables or Reports as required.
• Frequently coordinating with Estimating, QC and Project Management regarding all ongoing projects.
• Helping to ensure that project schedules and budgets are maintained and adhered to

Required Skills

• Engineering from a recognized Engineering Mechanical/Design and Drafting Technology program.
• Minimum 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience with piping design and material requirements for industrial work with experience in Oilsands Tailings considered an asset.
• Proficient in AutoPlant and Solidworks
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and computer programs, specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Job Type: Full-time Salary: 910,000.00 - 935,000.00 per month Schedule:

• Flexible shift
