Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Solid Wood Polisher to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and quality of our solid wood products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in finishing and polishing solid wood surfaces to perfection, ensuring that our products meet the highest aesthetic and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation : Inspect and prepare solid wood surfaces for polishing by sanding, filling, and repairing any imperfections, ensuring a smooth and even finish.

Polishing Techniques : Apply various polishing techniques, including staining, lacquering, varnishing, and oiling, to achieve the desired finish and color for different wood species and products.

Quality Control : Conduct thorough quality checks throughout the polishing process to identify and rectify any flaws, ensuring that the final product meets or exceeds quality standards.

Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain woodworking and finishing equipment, including sanders, polishers, and spray guns, in a safe and efficient manner.

Product Knowledge : Familiarize yourself with different wood types, grains, and characteristics to determine the appropriate finishing methods for each product.

Finishing Customization : Accommodate customization requests from customers by adjusting finishes, colors, and textures to meet their specifications.

Material Handling : Safely handle and store finishing materials, such as stains, paints, solvents, and varnishes, following proper storage and disposal procedures.

Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment, in the woodworking and finishing area.

Workplace Organization : Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.

Communication : Collaborate with colleagues in the production and quality control departments to ensure a smooth workflow and product consistency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
