Job Overview:

We are looking for a

skilled Soldering Technician

specializing in

high-tech PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly and design

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision soldering of electronic components, ensuring high-quality circuit board assembly, and assisting in PCB design processes. This role requires expertise in handling

surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering

, along with a keen eye for detail and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

precision soldering

on high-tech PCBs, including

SMT and through-hole components

. Read and interpret

schematics, blueprints, and PCB layouts

for proper assembly. Conduct

manual and reflow soldering

for small and complex components. Inspect solder joints for

quality assurance and compliance

with IPC standards. Troubleshoot and repair PCB assemblies by

reworking defective solder joints

. Collaborate with

PCB designers and engineers

to optimize circuit board layouts. Operate and maintain soldering equipment, including

hot air rework stations and microscopes

. Follow

ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures

to protect sensitive electronic components. Document work processes and report issues to the

engineering team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in

hand soldering, reflow soldering, and wave soldering techniques

. Experience with

high-density PCB assembly and fine-pitch components

. Knowledge of

IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 soldering standards

(certification preferred). Ability to

read and understand PCB schematics and assembly drawings

. Familiarity with

automated soldering machines, pick-and-place systems, and PCB testing tools

. Strong

attention to detail and steady hand

for precise soldering. Experience with

BGA rework, QFN soldering, and micro-soldering

is a plus. Understanding of

basic electronics, circuits, and component functions

. Ability to work

independently or as part of a team

in a fast-paced environment. Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle

PCB debugging and repairs
