The Role Role and Responsibilities: Administration and troubleshooting of Sun Solaris 8, 9, 10, 11. Setup & Configure various Workstations, Entry & Mid-range Oracle Servers. Work with, ALOM, ILOM, RSC&XSCF and configuring System Controller. Configuration and Troubleshooting Solaris Volume Manager (SVM) and Hardware Raid. Strong knowledge in Solaris, Linux patching, Firmware Update as well as Repo server Creation. Troubleshooting skills with network protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP & SNMP. Troubleshooting Sun storages and Servers Hardware failures. Installation & Configuration of Backup Devices. Performing Backup and Recovery using Veritas OS utilities. Administration of File System, System Security, Process Control & Boot Process. Experience with Jumpstart installation on Solaris. Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Solaris Zones, ZFS. Creating ZFS snapshots and clones. Strong knowledge in Storage, Disk Management, LVM and logical partitioning. Good knowledge in performance tuning and security hardening. Experience in the implementation of High Availability environment using PCS cluster. Ldom Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, live migration, Backup and restore. Experience in configuring WebLogic in Solaris servers. Upgrading IBM LTO Drive Firmware and Library Firmware. Knowledge of adding and removing ASM disks in Solaris 11. Trainings IT process knowledge of availability, Change, Incident, Problem & Capacity Management. Who You Are Required Professional and Technical Expertise: Candidate should have 8 to 10 Years of experience in Oracle Hardware and Solaris OS. Certified Solaris and Oracle Hardware. Willing to work in Shifts 24.7 from Client location. Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise: Solaris OS and Oracle Hardware Certification.
