We are currently seeking a skilled Solar Technician / Solar Installer / O&M Technician to join our dynamic team.

: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Solar Technician / Installer to join our growing team at Archer Renewable. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, as well as troubleshooting and ensuring system performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge solar technology and contribute to the expansion of clean, renewable energy.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including solar panels, inverters, electrical wiring, and other system components.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluate locations for solar installations.
• Work with project managers and engineers to ensure timely completion of solar projects.
• Install and test electrical connections, including inverters and batteries, ensuring systems are functioning properly.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to guarantee system reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions regarding system performance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Solar Technician, Solar Installer, or in O&M (Operations and Maintenance) roles, or other relevant positions in the solar industry.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical wiring, and related components.
• Familiarity with solar system troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to electrical codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
