Job Title: Solar Technician

:

As a Solar Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties. Your technical expertise in solar panel installation and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues will ensure efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install solar panel systems according to engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on solar energy systems, including inspections, cleaning, and testing of panels and components.
• Diagnose and repair solar panel systems, inverters, and electrical wiring.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during installation and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding their solar energy systems.
• Keep accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in solar technology.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (bike preferred for local travel).
• Smart and technical proficiency in solar panel installation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in solar panel installation or renewable energy.
• Previous experience in solar energy installation or related field.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily outdoors, on rooftops, and in various weather conditions.
• Some travel may be required to customer sites.
• Potential exposure to heights, electricity, and construction hazards.
