Overview:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Solar Design Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the design and monitoring of solar projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the solar industry, plant design, and engineering.

Responsibilities:

Project Design:

• Collaborate with the sales & site teams to develop drawings for construction for solar installations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.

Site Inspection:

• Conduct thorough site assessments to determine project feasibility and identify & solve for challenges.
• Assess and validate project sites for solar energy production, taking into account shading, terrain, and environmental factors

Project Monitoring & Audit

• Coordinate with sales, site and installation teams to ensure quality of works and adherence to design parameters
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to project implementation and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in solar project design.
• Knowledge of solar energy technologies, photovoltaic systems, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HT systems
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in the solar industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?950,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus
