Electrical / Solar Site Engineer

Position : Solar Site Engineer

Location : Bengaluru

Job Type : Full-time

Responsibilities:

- Site Survey and Reporting:

- Conduct site surveys to assess the suitability of locations for solar installations.

- Prepare detailed site reports, including site quotations, with comprehensive analysis and recommendations.

- Installation, Testing, and Commissioning:

- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems as per the design specifications.

- Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.

- Operation and Maintenance:

- Address and resolve operational complaints at assigned locations within stipulated timeframes.

- Maintain and manage spares and materials for maintenance, ensuring daily reporting on stock levels and usage.

- Documentation and Communication:

- Provide all necessary information, drawings, photos, and documents to the reporting authority.

- Report daily to the reporting authority regarding work progress and pending tasks through calls, messages, or emails.

- Coordinate with DISCOM authorities at various levels (Circle, Division, Subdivision, or substation).

- Planning and Coordination:

- Collaborate with the reporting authority to plan installations and commissioning with required materials in advance.

- Provide installation, service, and analysis reports as required, in the provided format.

- Standard Procedures and Compliance:

- Follow all standard procedures for using tools, components, and addressing complaints.

- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Qualifications:

- BE/Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics and Communication (EC).

- Experience in Substation Automation is a plus.

- Skills and Attributes:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and detail-oriented.
