Job Description

As a Solar Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems and solutions to residential and commercial customers. Your primary objective will be to drive business growth by generating leads, conducting consultations, and closing sales deals. Your passion for renewable energy and ability to articulate the benefits of solar technology will be key in convincing potential customers to adopt solar power solutions for their energy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation: Identify and target potential customers through various channels such as referrals, cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, online marketing, and networking events to generate leads.

Consultative Selling: Engage with prospective clients to understand their energy requirements and educate them about the benefits of solar energy systems tailored to their specific needs.

Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, advantages, and cost-saving benefits of solar energy solutions to potential customers.

Quoting and Proposal Creation: Prepare accurate and customized quotes and proposals based on customer requirements, system specifications, and financial analysis.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to finalize sales agreements, ensuring a win-win situation for both the customer and the company. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to remain knowledgeable and competitive in the solar energy market.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution and maintain effective communication throughout the process.

Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and legal requirements related to solar energy sales and installations, ensuring the company's compliance with relevant standards and certifications.

Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress in the company's CRM system.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of solar energy concepts and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Flexibility to travel locally to meet with clients as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
