We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Panel Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of a range of advanced solar panel manufacturing machines, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high product quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Machine Installation & Commissioning:
• Install and set up complex solar panel manufacturing machinery, including but not limited to:
• Laser Scriber
• Tabber Stringer
• Layup Machine
• EL Tester
• Laminator
• Ensure the successful commissioning of all machines according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Operation & Monitoring:
• Operate and oversee the performance of the above-mentioned machinery during production.
• Optimize machine settings for maximum efficiency and quality.
• Conduct trial runs to test and verify machine performance.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Quality Assurance:
• Monitor production output and ensure it meets quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests (e.g., EL testing) to identify and rectify any defects.
• Maintain records of quality checks and production data.
• Training & Process Improvement:
• Provide training to other team members on machine operations and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and implement best practices.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining solar panel manufacturing equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of machines such as laser scribers, tabber stringers, laminators, layup machines, and EL testers.
• Hands-on experience in machine installation and commissioning.
• Deep understanding of quality assurance standards in solar panel production.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience working with automated or semi-automated solar panel manufacturing systems.
• Certifications in equipment handling or quality management are a plus.
