:We are searching for an energetic and results-oriented Solar EPC Sales Engineer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth for our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants. You will leverage your technical knowledge and strong sales acumen to identify new clients, develop project proposals, and close deals.Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Generate and qualify leads for solar EPC projects, targeting commercial, industrial, or utility-scale clients (depending on company focus).\xc2\xb7 Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility, understand customer needs, and propose optimal solar PV solutions.\xc2\xb7 Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, outlining project scope, timelines, costs, and financing options.\xc2\xb7 Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable sales agreements.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements and budget constraints.\xc2\xb7 Partner with internal departments like procurement and construction to showcase the company's EPC capabilities.\xc2\xb7 Maintain and build relationships with existing and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships.\xc2\xb7 Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and identify new business opportunities in the solar EPC market.\xc2\xb7 Contribute to developing and implementing effective sales strategies for the solar EPC division.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., renewable energy).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related technical field (e.g., construction, building materials).
  • Strong understanding of solar PV technology, EPC project lifecycles, and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., CRM) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits (as needed).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in selling solar EPC services to commercial, industrial, or utility-scale clients.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Working knowledge of solar project financing options.
  • Understanding of relevant building codes and permitting processes for solar installations.
