We are seeking a qualified and motivated Solar Engineer to join our team and drive the adoption of clean energy solutions in India. You will be accountable for solar installations, from site assessment to system activation, and will ensure compliance with Indian safety regulations and standards.What you will be expected to do:

• System Installations: EPC (Engineering, procurement, and Construction)
• Participate in site assessments to determine suitability for solar panel installation.
• Assist with designing and planning solar system installations based on customer needs and roof specifications.
• Install racking, solar panels, electrical components, and wiring, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Perform electrical wiring and grounding according to code requirements.
• Test and validate the installation, and verify performance and efficiency.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on solar systems and troubleshoot any issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all installation and maintenance activities.
• Partner effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
• Must understand the subsidy and follow up with DISCOM for net metering.
• Partner with the internal and external team throughout project development and implementation.
• Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Follow the local standards for installation and safety.
• Any other business as assigned by your supervisor.

You might be a strong candidate if you have/are:

• Diploma or bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energy.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar energy system design and engineering, with a proven successful project delivery track record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EPC Work. Must have field experience from material procurement, Site inspection and Installation of Off-Grid, On-Grid and Hybrid Solar System.
• Experience in maintaining and operating Solar Power plant is added preference.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• PV design tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope), Sketch up.
• Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic technology, system components,and installation practices.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards governing solar PV installations, such as NEC, UL, and IEC.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to perform complex engineering calculations and simulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work jointly in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional engineering license (PE) or eligibility for licensure preferred.
• Passion for renewable energy and a dedication to sustainability goals.
• Excellent customer service skills
