Job Summary: This role requires translating ideas into visuals using CAD software to design optimal solar panel layouts, collaborating with engineers and translating client needs into clear, scalable drawings that ensure efficient and safe solar projects. We're looking for someone with CAD expertise, electrical knowledge, and a drive to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of sustainable energy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Design solar panel layouts for rooftops or ground installations, considering factors like sun direction and shading.

? Perform 3D modeling to analyze shading and optimize panel placement.

? Generate construction drawings, including specifications and calculations for permits.

? Collaborate with engineers to ensure the design meets technical requirements.

? May assist with preparing initial concept drawings for sales purposes, as per inputs.

? May use specialized solar design software to streamline the layout process and perform solar energy calculations.

? Work closely with solar engineers to ensure designs adhere to technical feasibility and efficiency.

? Communicate effectively with sales teams to translate client needs into initial design concepts.

? Travel to sites may be required for survey and data collection.

Requirements / Qualifications / Skills :

? Thorough understanding of electrical concepts and technical feasibilities.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and with reporting managers.

? Proficient in industry-standard CAD software like AutoCAD, Sketchup etc for creating precise and scalable drawings.

Experience: 1-2 Years of relevant experience.
