Our startup have widespread footprint developing Renewable capacity additions across India and globally.

Associated with IPPs / Investors and Lenders who are equity and debt partners, as well as Developers, Aggregators, Contractors and Sub-contractors.

Need a Solar design engineer who can design on AutoCAD and has hand on experience in techno commercial.

Expertise spanning:

• various project models such as Wind, Solar, Hybrid and Battery storage including turnkey solutions.
• all types of Contracts / PPAs / Financial models / structures including Central, State, Federal and Bilateral PPAs.

JOB PURPOSE: (prime focus and objective of the position)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design person with extensive experience in the design and implementation of solar photovoltaic power plants . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Solar plant design, Planning and budgeting with focus on renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities:

Design:

? Design and engineering for solar photovoltaic power plant projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, industry best practices, and project requirements.

? Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal locations for solar power plant installations, considering factors such as solar irradiance, terrain, shading, and environmental impact.

? Develop detailed system designs, including solar array layouts, electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and structural designs, to maximize energy production and efficiency.

? Perform electrical engineering calculations and simulations to optimize system performance, voltage levels, power distribution, and protection coordination.

? Select appropriate solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and other components based on performance, reliability, cost, and compatibility with project requirements.

? Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.

? Prepare technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports, to support project planning, permitting, and construction activities.

? Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that designs meet quality standards, performance requirements, and customer expectations.

? Stay informed about the latest advancements in solar technology, materials, and design techniques, and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance project performance and competitiveness.

? Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

? Project Planning and Budgeting.

? Finalizing the Solar Plant design proposed by the vendors as per the design standards and providing an optimized design.

Required Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred

? Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in the design and engineering of solar photovoltaic power plants in renewable energy projects.

? Proficiency in solar photovoltaic system design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, PVSOL) and electrical engineering software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD).

? Experience with renewable energy project development, permitting, and regulatory compliance is a plus.

? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?1,800,000.00 - ?2,000,000.00 per year
