We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Jr. Software Test Engineer (QA) with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Strategy:
• Analyze requirements and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Identify test scenarios, write test cases, and maintain test documentation.
• Testing Execution:
• Conduct functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, logging and tracking defects effectively.
• Defect Reporting and Tracking:
• Report bugs and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Use tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar for defect management.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with developers and cross functional teams to ensure product quality.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Suggest process improvements for better quality assurance practices.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Following skill sets will be an added advantage:

• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman for API testing). is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
