Position Duties:
This position will bring strong technical expertise in automation testing and will be able to independently perform assigned project verification tasks.
Responsibilities include:• Test automation planning.
• Tracks and monitor test execution progress, risk, and issues that might affect progress and escalate accordingly to the project team.
• Analyzing manual test cases and converting them into automation scripts using Tosca.
• Develop, maintain, and execute the test scripts using Tosca.
• Provide mentoring, guidance to other members of the Testing team.
• To implementation of the overall automation testing strategy, bring script standards and best practices.
• Designing and developing Test Automation Framework and Test Methodology
• Defining automation best practices, project structure and review process.
• Active involvement in setting and configuring test environments.
• Active involvement in requirement verification referring requirement specifications and product backlog.
• Verification of Varian Products & Features - Sound in automation testing.
• Identify & Report defects. Verify defect resolutions.
• Active participation in Defect Resolution Cycle.
• Active participation in the review of engineering deliverables (I.e. Product requirements specifications verification and validation plan, verification test cases etc.)
• Prepare Verification Test reports as required.
• Work in compliance with Varian's quality system.
• As a part of status reporting, will gather different test metrics.
• Work in compliance with Varian's quality system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications Required:• BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum of AS1, AS2, TDS1 and TDS2 certified.
• 8 to 10 Years of Software Testing experience automation with extensive emphasis on TOSCA automation.
• Prior hands-on experience in building Tosca automated regression packs from scratch.
• Experience in understanding requirements and work with team to develop approach for test automation.
• Strong knowledge in TOSCA automation tool to design the framework, setup the process, develop and execute using the tool.
• Should be able to write and execute test scripts in Tosca.
• Should be able to guide and train team on Tosca.
• Should have good knowledge on TDS, DEX, Custom Reporting using Tosca.
• should have TOSCA experience for all set of applications (Web application, desktop application, mobile application).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and reliable automated test solutions.
• Sound understanding of agile testing and Scrum.
• Strong understanding of approaches relating to functional and non-functional testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge on Jama/Quality Center and Clear Quest.
• Ability to do tasks with minimal supervision.


Nice to have:• Build custom controls to be recognizable to the Tosca Test suite.
• Integrating test automation into CICD pipelines.


Language Abilities:
Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
