Job Title Software Technologist II This role provides an opportunity to As a Senior Software Technologist in the HDS , you\'ll be involved and in charge of developing challenging SW modules in an Agile development environment, implementing complex services in the HDS Platform. You will be using state -of-the- art frameworks like Angular, React, .NET Core, Docker, K8S that run in a scalable c loud infrastructure. You are responsible for Lead, manage and empower team(s) of software engineers, leading and contributing to our SaaS/cloud strategy. Support and implement distributed SaaS/cloud systems. Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams throughout the organization as a subject matter expert in IaaS/SaaS/Cloud with solution and implementation focus. Driving an open and collaborative culture both within and between teams. Providing inspiring leadership across engineering to enable solid fast development and delivery and create a culture of code quality, performance, and agility - whilst respecting the quality and regulatory aspects of the development . Define and drive software capabilities across scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, and maintainability for the SaaS platform. Defining and implementing Non-functional Requirements into the core of the applications, such as security, scalability, maintainability, and various levels of quality . Remaining a hands-on technical contributor spending 30% time on code design and review as well as technical coaching . Keep abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts . Be a role model to engineers and inspiring high technical bar for the team. Unlocking the power of the cloud to become more agile, scalable, efficient, and cost-effective To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience Qualifications: Bachelor/Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred . Aws certified developer associate . 5 to 8 years of relevant experience , with at least 3 years of hand on experience in developing SaaS product. Core skills & experience Experience in software development with hands-on experience in Core: C#, .NET Core familiarity is an advantage Web technologies: Angular/React, REST API , Web Services, Database ( SQL/NoSQL) and micro-services based distributed architecture, Strong familiarity with medical protocols (DICOM, HL7, FHIR) is an advantage . Experience in computer graphics, medical image processing an advantage . Demonstrated strength in cloud native technologies and operating in the cloud. Experience with AWS or similar cloud computing environments as well as experience in defining and delivering cost effective, agile, robust, and secure technology solutions Experience working with cross functional product teams and leading highly skilled software engineers. Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns. Microservices experience and development of API\'s. Strong leadership skills including thought leadership and an ability to work in a collaborative environment, negotiate challenges, explain technical considerations, and recommend solutions Experience with software design concepts, practices, modern development methodologies such as Agile, Lean, TDD/BDD, Clean Code, CI/CD Knows how to balance feature delivery and tech debt amortization while maintaining existing technology and innovation to satisfy business needs A polyglot in programming languages with the ability to learn new technologies as the need arises Experience working in an DevOps culture with end-to-end responsibility for products throughout their Lifecyle . Ability to work in a collaborative environment, negotiate challenges, explain technical considerations, and recommend solutions A true \'roll up the sleeves and get it done\' working approach with demonstrated success as a problem solver.
