How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The E&C Software Technologies Director leads the software technology strategy and execution for the E&C Digital & IT department. On one hand, he/she oversees the design, development, implementation, and versioning of proprietary software applications and on the other hand the integration of off-the-shelf software applications from the market within the applications landscape. He/She works closely with the digital products teams in the other teams of the Digital & IT department bringing innovation and efficiency. He/she ensures the alignment of software technology initiatives with business goalsAccountabilities & related Activities1. Define, implement and monitor software technologies strategyoperating model for the software management of E&C digital solutionstechnical strategy of integration of all E&C Digital Solutionsimplement the technology roadmap (Hexagon, Aveva, AspenTech, Ansys, APIs, SAP, etc.)technology software budget, financial process (targets, actuals, reforecast, etc.), reportingalignment of Digital and IT roadmap with business needsculture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the teamstrategic partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and industry leaders2. Lead and manage software engineering teamsteam of software engineers and IT professionals recruitment, retention and developmentbest practices in software development, inc. Agile, CI/CD, product mgt. and automated testingrationalization of the applications landscape, integration by designsoftware engineers and technical experts hosting for the other Digital & IT teams in Europedisaster recovery, business continuity mechanismsquality standards, performance metrics for technology projects, risks mitigation, compliance3. Lead Digital Solutions Development and integrationimplementation (development, testing, integration) of digital solutions with the product managersseamless handover for transitioning digital solutions to the Digital & IT operations teamscustomization and integration lifecycle for off-the-shelf toolsuser-centric design, users requirements gathering, usage and adoption monitoring and reportingdigital solutions TCO objectives enforcementdigital solutions documentation (users manuals, admin guides, maintenance procedures, etc.)security, data privacy4.
