Iron Mountain Data Centers is looking to hire a QA Analyst to join our global Data Enablement team. You will take shared responsibility for the successful fulfillment of business requirements and data delivery. To succeed in this role you will need an eye for detail; the ability to methodically test, verify, and document quality assurance processes, outcomes, and go-forward recommendations; contribute to pre-deployment activities that ensure completeness and accuracy; have a basic understanding of data management framework; and be willing to learn how to consistently deliver trustworthy data and reports to users via a data platform toolset.


Responsibilities:


• Define, own, execute, define, and coordinate QA procedures, exercises, and test plan activities
• Provide QA support for Tableau Online and Microsoft SSRS implementations and enhancements
• Create and execute T-SQL queries that ensure fulfillment of data delivery and report requests
• Assess, document, and collaborate on defect management processes and improvements
• Recommend controls that ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of data loads and pipelines
• Gather QA outcomes and produce metrics and analysis for improvement on a consistent basis
• Test and document e2e data solutions, reports, systems, pipelines, and presentation layers
• Contribute to production deployment and release activities, documentation, and communication
• Drive QA support for data integration activities across platforms, tools, and domains
• Improve, advance, and innovate QA processes, templates, and long-term capabilities

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required
• 2-3 years of on-the-job experience as a QA Analyst, preferably in an Agile IT SDLC environment
• 2-3 years experience writing and executing functional test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Knowledge of SQL Server, relational databases, data modeling, warehousing, and visualization
• Ability to write intermediate T-SQL queries including joins and unions for data validation
• Working knowledge of data warehousing processes, flows, tools, and delivery mechanisms
• Ability to learn visualization concepts, data flows, and development in Tableau Online & Microsoft SSRS
• Good understanding of the Domain knowledge, and defining the user-centric test scenarios
• Make decisions confidently, independently, and assume level-II responsibility in critical QA situations
• Self manage and able to self organize to multiple tasks with changing priorities and deadlines
• High attention to detail with solid analytical skills, methods, and technical curiosity
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work M-F 1-10PM IST
