What you\'ll learn & achieve: Under general supervision, performs moderately complex tests to ensure software is working properly and to identify issues. Reports defects and partners with software teams to ensure timely resolution. Supports software teams with the implementation of software enhancements. Creation of moderately complex test scripts Review Functional Requirements documents and interact with other departments to ensure accurate understanding of requirements and testing to be conducted. Conduct independent hands-on requirements based software testing, including writing test specifications and case, identifying and entering project reports in a tracking database and organizing larger investigations to isolate systems issues, if needed. Work with remote testing resources to ensure test scripts and test script execution is complete and meets internal SOP and regulatory requirements, as needed. Effectively communicate and collaborate within the department and across the organization by proactively driving solutions to testing issues and escalating as needed. Help define, write and review QA SOPs and update as required. Understand and comply with applicable regulations and all company processes as outlines in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices Performs other duties as directed What makes you a great fit: University degree Computer Science, or a related discipline plus generally four years of directly related experience. Ability to run moderately complex software tests and accurately document issues. Understanding and experience implementing test strategies and test plans. Ability to perform manual testing against enterprise UI web applications. Good written and verbal communication skills.
