The Software Quality Engineer executes Information Services (I.S.) Quality Assurance (QA) processes with moderate guidance. He/She identifies problems, generates alternatives, and recommends solutions within defined processes. This position documents the progress of assigned tasks to ensure objectives are met. He/She collaborates effectively with QA team members, application developers, software vendors, consultants, user communities, and test environment technical support staff in the execution of testing procedures. This position supports testing efforts of small to medium complexity. The Software Quality Engineer is knowledgeable of the key processes and technology within the business functions he/she supports.

### Responsibilities Software Quality Engineer:

• Assists with Information Systems projects by conducting quality assurance activities and ensuring adherence to standards.
• Conducts system analysis and design reviews to identify potential quality issues early in the development process.
• Designs and develops low to moderately complex test plans and test cases, using Maven, TestNG, Cucumber and Selenium where applicable.
• Generates comprehensive quality documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect reports, and release notes.
• Supports integration builds by performing integration testing and verifying the seamless communication between different systems.
• Provides ongoing maintenance and support for quality assurance processes, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance software quality and reliability.
• 3+ years of testing experience with Automation.
