Join us as a Software Principal Engineer on our Platform Services Engineering team in Bangalore to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. What you\'ll achieve Platform Services Engineering team is responsible for building scalable, secure, globally distributed platform products like Orchestration platform, SaaS platform portal, and Bare metal platform service working closely with Platform core team and Offer team. As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying new features, enhancing existing features, and maintaining the production software. You will work closely with senior engineers, PDMS, UX design, and validation teams on several application and solutions You Will: Be a key contributor on an Agile development team, collaboratively realizing business value through iterative software development lifecycle Design, development, and end to end testing of Dell Cloud products including enhancements and/or resolutions of issues that may be reported adhering to Dell Technologies Cloud standards Investigate and resolve customer issues with software solutions and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements Prepare test data for unit, integration, end to end, regression and performance testing Drive idea generation for new software products or the next version of an existing product Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here\'s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 8-12 years of Software development experience with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. Software design skills for on-prem and web development cloud projects. Excellent UI and backend coding skills in Nodejs, typescript, React/Angular Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services in Java. Hands-on knowledge in Kubernetes with deep understanding of deployment/troubleshooting of applications on cluster Develop and drive deployment of production ready code using CI/CD Experience designing, implementing, and operating solutions based on a microservice architecture and experience in developing and implementing highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems Desirable Requirements Development experience using Golang Who we are We believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
