Job Description

The Software Manager is responsible for managing a team of software developers, overseeing the development and delivery of software products, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients or stakeholders. The Software Manager will collaborate with other members of the management team to set goals and objectives, allocate resources, and plan and execute projects.


Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage and lead a team of software developers and engineers, assigning tasks and projects, and providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the management team to define goals and objectives, allocate resources, and plan and execute software development projects.
• Ensure that software development projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients or stakeholders.
• Train and evaluate software development staff.
• Develop and maintain software development processes and methodologies that are efficient, effective, and scalable.
• Ensure that software products meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development projects.
• Communicate regularly with clients or stakeholders to provide project updates and ensure their satisfaction with software products.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

• 
  Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects.
• Strong technical skills and experience with software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle management tools.
• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, DevOps methodologies, and containerization technologies.
