Job description:

1. Hands on design/development/debugging experience in systems company (preferably networking).

2.Expertise in C/C++ programming languages on VxWorks/Linux operating systems is a must.

3.Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency.

4.Experience working in the areas of Chassis Management, Card Bring up, High-Availability, Router Infrastructure software.

5.Application development experience/exposure working in following areas \xe2\x80\x93

a. Optical Transport Network (G.709)

b. OTUk \xe2\x80\x93 Transponders, Muxponders.

c. ROADM cards, Optical Amplifiers.

d. OTN, DWDM, Fault Management, performance monitoring.

e. Experience or exposure using UART (RS232), MDIO, I2C, SPI, PCIe interfaces in the applications that interact with FPGAs.

f. TCP/IP, Security applications like - SSH, PKI, RADIUS, TACACS+, KERBEROS, TCP/IP Layer 4 Applications like - (e.g.) DHCP, Telnet, ICMP etc.

6.Good debugging skills.

7.Excellent learning ability and integration in existing projects.

8.An Ability to own issues and drive them to a conclusion.

9.Developing in large-scale projects environments \xe2\x80\x93 Advantage.

Roles & Responsibility

1.As a developer - the role will involve working on various features within the Shadetree SW .

a.Chassis Management, High-Availability, Router Infrastructure software.

b.Developing applications in C/C++ for optical IO cards (OTUk \xe2\x80\x93 Transponders/Muxponders, ROADMs, Optical Amplifiers).

2.The role will also likely involve interaction with developers/systems engineers in remote sites (Israel, China).

Embedded Development \xe2\x80\x935-9 years.

Qualifications

B.E, B.Tech / M.E, M.Tech degree in Computer science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
