• Learn the Astadia Factory tools to perform mainframe transformations.
• Provide expert level Java knowledge and debugging & shell script coding
• Document requirements, use cases, system design and code.
• Participate in multiple concurrent projects to completion on-time and on-budget.
• Deliver within the scope of the project within the scope of a Factory project while not compromising on quality.
• Work closely with team members and clients to achieve desired results.
• Identify and bridge knowledge gap among team members from different background like Java, Mainframe etc
• Thrive in an environment of collaboration and change.
• Develops and works with the clientxe2x80x99s mainframe specialists.

• Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent and 7-8 years' experience as a software engineer or a software support engineer.
• Strong experience with Java application and relational database technologies.
• Extensive experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and batch processing.
• Strong Development experience in Java coding
• 3+ Shell scripts/Python development experience
• A plus would be candidate with 6+ Years of Development experience using cutting edge development tools in Java.
• Certifications in any cloud technologies.
