Why this job mattersWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Designer with a strong background in system architecting and design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern technologies such as RUST, Actix, and Diesel, and a solid understanding of Genetec. As a Solution Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions that meet our clients\' needs.What you\'ll be doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective solution designs.
• Architect, design, and implement high-performance systems using RUST, Actix, and Diesel.
• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable software applications.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the solutions.
• Integrate with Genetec systems to provide seamless and efficient solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending and implementing best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Document design specifications, implementation details, and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in system architecting and design.
• Strong proficiency in RUST and experience with the Actix web framework.
• Hands-on experience with Diesel ORM for database interactions.
• Good understanding of Genetec and its integration capabilities.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including code versioning, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with security protocols and practices.
