Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.10. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA) is preferred.11.Good to have experience with frontend development technologies, such as Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks.12.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins) is a plus.13.Expert Knowledge of programming concepts including TDD\\BDD, Virtualization\\Docker and Containerization Concepts, API Gateways, so should be a \'Coder by Heart\'.14. Expertise in RESTful web services, Ajax-driven client applications, and includes Advanced JavaScript architectures.15. Always Keen to explore and learn on emerging Tech like AI/ML/Data Analytics etc and flexible to get hands-on and learn new Tech whenever required as per Organizational needs.Why this job mattersThe Software / Design Engineering Professional supports the execution of the software engineering strategy and roadmap that supports BT\'s commercial strategy through cross functional project and technical delivery and the participation of a team that pursues innovation as well as engineering excellence.What you\'ll be doingDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend systems and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA.2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and implement features that meet business needs.3. Implement best practices for software development, including design patterns, coding standards, and performance optimization techniques.4. Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews, and enforce adherence to coding standards and best practices.5. Optimize database queries and data access layers for efficiency, scalability, and performance.6. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments and provide timely resolution of technical problems.7. Keep up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and leverage them to improve our systems and processes.8. Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture.9.
