An Office 365 SME is responsible for ensuring that the organization\'s Microsoft Office 365 suite is configured, maintained, and optimized to meet the evolving needs of the business and its users. They play a crucial role in ensuring that BT employees have the resources they need to work effectively, while also safeguarding the company\'s data and compliance with relevant policies. To Implementing and managing Microsoft 365 solutions. Providing technical support and troubleshooting of all complex and escalated tickets for Microsoft Office 365 products. Ensuring the security and integrity of all BT MS office systems integration with on-Prem and on Cloud.What you\'ll be doing

  • MS office 365 SME will be responsible for applying subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes, identifying areas where technical solutions would improve business performance, consulting across business operations, providing mentorship, and contributing specialized knowledge.
  • Manage user identities and credentials: This includes setting up and administering user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Office 365 environment.
  • Configure and maintain mailboxes: This includes email forwarding, shared mailboxes, and email security settings to ensure secure and efficient email communication.
  • Implement and manage Office 365 compliance ad security features: This includes data loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and retention policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Administer SharePoint Online: This includes site creation, configuration, and management, to facilitate collaboration and document management across the organization.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of Microsoft Teams: This includes team creation, policy configuration, and integration with other Office 365 services to enhance internal communication and collaboration.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact: For troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Office 365 services and connectivity issues: This includes using tools like the Microsoft 365 admin center and PowerShell scripts to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Manage the Office 365 for enterprise deployment: This includes software updates, version control, and user installation options to ensure that users have access to the latest productivity tools.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers: This includes the integration of third-party services and applications with the Office 365 environment, ensuring seamless interoperability and enhancing the platform\'s capabilities.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptability: AI is a rapidly evolving field. Staying proficient requires continuous learning and adaptability to keep up with new developments and updates.
  • Technical lead for customer projects: This includes transitions and migrations.
  • Use power platform to deploy solution.
  • Responsible for ensuring technical service operations and delivery: This includes Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 workloads, Active Directory, Azure AD and related services in the customer environment.
  • In addition, an Office 365 SME is responsible for ensuring that the organization\'s Microsoft Office 365 suite is configured, maintained, and optimized to meet the evolving needs of the business and its users. They play a crucial role in ensuring that employees have the resources they need to work effectively, while also safeguarding the company\'s data and compliance with relevant policies.
  • Coordinate across multiple Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Work with architects and other administrators responsible for workloads, infrastructure, identity, security, compliance, endpoints, and applications.

Skills Required
  • Lead Microsoft 365 implementation projects: From initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Assess existing Microsoft 365 environments: Develop strategies for restructuring and optimization based on organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Gather requirements and define project objectives for Microsoft 365 deployments and restructurings.
  • Configure and customize Microsoft 365 services: Including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other related applications, to align with organizational needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance: To internal teams and end-users on Microsoft 365 capabilities, best practices, and use cases.
  • Deliver end-user training sessions and develop user documentation: To promote effective utilization of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Monitor Microsoft 365 performance, security, and compliance: Implement measures to address any identified issues or risks.
  • Stay informed about Microsoft 365 updates, features, and industry trends: Recommend enhancements or new functionalities to enhance organizational productivity and efficiency.
  • Team Player - Role holder required collaborate with wider Team members in terms of business requirement, policy, profiles, & critical incident.
  • Understanding MS Copilot and AI: understand of the capability of these technologies and application of AI in Microsoft 365.
  • Stakeholder management, with the ability to hold others to account, align and influence via Storytelling.
Mandatory Experience Required
  • A bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Hands on role experience holder must be -3-5 years minimum in support and plaining of MS office 365.
  • Must have completed projects that involved in company vison for future and works collaboration to accomplish its goals.
  • Certification in Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert.
