Job Summary: Scitara is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Software Development Manager to lead and manage our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software development, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead the software development team of highly skilled full stack developers. Design and develop solutions, evaluate architecture options, set technical direction and quality standards, guide implementation. Responsible for code reviews, code and product quality for the deliverables in Agile environment Collaborate with product management, quality assurance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery. Complete ownership of timely delivery of high-quality releases. Regularly communicate with the management about risk analysis and possible deviations. Drive the group to work efficiently and consistently following an Agile methodology. Identify and drive continuous improvement of process, quality metrics, communication and tooling. Qualification: Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in computer science or a related field Experience: 13 - 16 years of experience in software product development. 3 - 5 years of experience in leading and mentoring software development team of 8-15 engineers. Desired Skills: Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Solid hands-on experience on product development on C# .Net Experience in Node.Js Excellent technical leadership to ensure high quality design and development of the product features. Understanding of MEAN (Mongo-Express -Angular Js-Node Js) or MERN (Mongo-Express-React-Node Js) stack. Knowledge of cloud frameworks (AWS/ Azure/ GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis) Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and Web Sockets Knowledge of Messaging/queuing protocols (socket.io, RabbitMQ)Experience developing and supporting multi-tenant cloud-native software delivered as-a-Service (SaaS). Experience with Agile development methodologies. Excellent people leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to hire, train and mentor the right talent. Attitude and Aptitude to proactively solve the problems with team and communicate to stakeholders. Good to Have: Working knowledge of laboratory informatics systems (i.e. LIMS, ELN, SDMS) Experience with scientific instrumentation and/or data.
