As the Engineering Manager for Azure Cloud Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of our cloud-based solutions. You will lead a team of talented engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that our Azure Cloud initiatives are executed efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality. Your leadership and technical expertise will be critical in driving innovation and achieving our strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development for team members.
Conduct performance reviews and manage career development plans for team members.
Project Delivery:Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Azure Cloud projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
Technical Expertise:Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure Cloud architecture, solutions, and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure Cloud technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure Cloud deployments and operations.
Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in cloud engineering.
Develop and enforce engineering standards, methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and IT operations, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud solutions.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role with a focus on Azure Cloud technology.
Strong expertise in Azure Cloud services, architecture, and best practices.
Experience managing cloud-based projects from inception to delivery.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and DevOps principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
