We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction, prevention, and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people.Software Engineering Lead AnalystPosition Overview:Data Platform and Analytics engineering (DPaAS) team in Finance Technology group is looking for a Software Engineering Lead Analyst to provide automated solutions for key projects within DPaAS.The Software Engineering Lead Analyst will primarily be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions using Opkey\'s test automation platform (Opkey is a third-party test automation tool being used in Finance Cloud Enablement program). This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality through efficient automation processes. This position involves creating and executing test scripts, analyzing test results. The Software Engineering Lead Analyst will work in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving project requirements and technology trends.Oversee integration of Opkey with enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle, EPM,) reporting tools (BI, Tableau) and other tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, JIRA) to ensure seamless test execution and reporting.Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Opkey\'s automation tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects or issues.
  • Report and track defects, and work with Functional/development team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update test automation frameworks to ensure alignment with new features.
  • Document test cases, scripts, and results for future reference and audits.
  • Continuously improve test automation processes and methodologies.
  • Optimize test scripts and frameworks for performance and reliability. Implement strategies to reduce test execution times and improve test coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation best practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues identified during testing.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test automation technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in using Opkey or similar automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java/ Python or C#
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Skills:
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools, especially Opkey.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with web and mobile application testing.
  • Knowledge of API testing and service virtualization.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Ability to design and implement robust test automation strategies.
  • Understanding of SQL and database querying.
  • Skills in performance testing and analysis.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues effectively.
Required Experience & Education:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in test automation engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience of working on Opkey test automation tool
  • Proven experience with Opkey or similar test automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation in cloud environments.
  • Strong background in both manual and automated testing practices.
  • Experience with test data management and test environment setup.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.
Desired Experience:
  • Good to have a Certification on any relevant automation tools.
  • Experience with advanced features of Opkey, such as integration with other tools.
  • Knowledge of machine learning or AI-based testing methodologies.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Experience in developing custom plugins or extensions for automation tools.
  • Background in DevOps practices and principles.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
  • Understanding of security testing practices and tools.
  • Experience with internationalization and localization testing.
