We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction, prevention, and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people.Role Title:Application Development Associate AdvisorPosition Summary:As an Application Development Associate Advisor, lead the team to design, architect and deliver large-scale software applications, services or technologies, and bring powerful health services, capabilities, and solutions harnessing the power of AI and machine learning. As a key leader in the organization you will have the opportunity to work directly with partner IT and business teams, owning and driving major deliverables across all aspects of software delivery and build solutions to champion for affordable, predictable, and simple health care. & Responsibilities:

• Build a best-in-class engineering team that delivers excellent results through rapid iterations.
• Work with product management and cross functional teams to provide technical solutions for desired user experiences.
• Provide hands on technical leadership to the team, including your own code contributions.
• Define detailed technical requirements from high level product descriptions and enable your team to do the same.
• Drive and facilitate innovation within the team.
• Monitor, drive and facilitate individual growth of your teams individual contributors.
• Build, manage, and develop world-class engineers including hiring recommendations and guide and mentor engineers.
• Ensure high quality design reviews which meet business and architectural goals and drive critical feedback on architecture and design issues.
• Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business alignment with team, leadership chain, and with customers.
• Drives solution end-to-end, inclusive of partner delivery organizations. Coordinates design impacts appropriately with enterprise architecture and solution design peer groups.

Experience Required:

• Overall, 8+ years experience
• Deep hands-on technical expertise in cloud based distributed software design and development.
• Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability and performance.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience with back-end distribution systems.
• A passion for people management and mentorship.
• Experience with the SCRUM methodology for agile software development.
• Prior experience as a software developer or software development manager.
• 6+ years of software development experience including design patterns, data structures, test driven development utilizing Java/.Net, Python, or full stack JavaScript.

Experience Desired:

• Knowledge of Pega BPM or AWS step functions or other business process management solutions are desirable.
• Healthcare experience (preferred but not mandate)

Education and Training Required:A bachelors or masters degree in computer science/engineering, or similar majors.Primary Skills:

• UiPath, Pega & Blue Prism Robotics Experience (requires 2 of the 3 for experience)

Additional Skills:

• AWS or other business process management solutions
