The AWS Serverless Developer will own architecting, building and managing serverless applications using AWS services. They are expected to work closely with Subject Matter Experts, developers, technical project managers, principal engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements.Responsibilities:

• Integrate our web-based applications with downstream systems like Salesforce and internal systems using REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain Java-based solutions, leveraging Java core APIs to optimize performance.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.
• Utilize SQL for database interactions across Oracle RDBMS, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Gain deep understanding of Health Insurance Pricing and Underwriting domain to align integration solutions with business needs.
• Analyze underwriting rules and logic to ensure effective integration with downstream systems.
• Apply strong systems analysis skills within an Agile development environment to deliver robust software solutions.

QualificationsRequired Skills:

• Technology Stack: Java core APIs, REST APIs, SQL
• Extensive experience in Java development, with a focus on Java core APIs and REST API development.
• Proven expertise in integrating applications with external systems, particularly using REST APIs.
• Strong Java coding skills and ability to develop efficient and scalable solutions.
• Experience with SQL and databases, including OracleRDBMS, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex business domains, specifically Health Insurance Pricing and Underwriting.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Prior experience in an advisory role, preferably in another Fortune 50 company, is desirable.
• Good knowledge in Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management

Required Experience & Education:

• 8+ years of experience
• Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.
• College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/computer science or equivalent work experience.
