The Capital Cost Estimating Tool (CCET) is the next-generation capital cost estimating software within P&T Project Services (PTP/C) in the Capital Project portfolio. CCET allows users to create estimates with an assigned accuracy range and provides an end-to-end estimate for all businesses with enhanced functionality. What\'s the role As Software Engineer- Full Stack Developer, your task is to do full stack development of the CCET application. This role will do the development & support operations. The vision for these efforts is to provide a sustainable CCET platform for Capital Projects from Shell Upstream, Downstream and Project & Technology. This role requires working closely with several key stakeholders in the business & business IT. You will be responsible for the delivery of software, which may include new development, configuration and installation of third-party packages, and software integration efforts as well as reporting. It may include tasks from every part of the software development lifecycle, including software and website design, development, programming, and software deployment (both the installation and decommissioning of software). Key Accountabilities: You will be working on CCET as a full-stack developer. Will work as an Ops engineer to fix bugs. Working as a Dev engineer to deliver solutions for enhancements to be delivered in a sprint. Engage with business users and end users for gathering require solutions as well as deployments. Keep technical expertise up to date. Also willing to learn relevant technologies as these skills help individuals to petroleum their roles more efficiently. Build relationships with Product Line Managers, Project Managers & Business Users. Ability to learn domain skills expected in Capital Projects. Virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse teams and across many organizational boundaries (within and across IT support and delivery organizations, incl. suppliers as well as Capital Project vendors) like a distributed agile team. Managing multiple delivery priorities, multiple demand requests and complex (integration) issues High degree of application, technology and SaaS landscape complexity and integration Working as one team with business support teams to ensure seamless development and deployments of changes and maximum added value for the business by proposing continuous improvements in line with the business needs and strategy. What We Need from you Alongside your degree in Information Technology, we hope to see the following in your CV: Must have 4 to 7 years of corporate IT experience Has 4 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack developer. Mandatory Skills: Angular 9 and above, ASP.NET, DOT NET Core, C#, SQL Query, RDMS, Interfaces (DOT NET APIs), Entity Framework, MVC, RxJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Unit Testing using TypeScript and C# are some of the essential technical skills required for this job. Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style, both face-to-face and virtually, are important soft skills for this role. The ability to analyze problems and find solutions is a crucial attribute for this position. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proactive communication, are required. The job also necessitates previous experience working in agile/scrum delivery teams/DevOps, being a self-starter, and handling concurrent tasks with appropriate priority.
