Position Profile - Sr. Software Engineer (Web Backend developer)Job PurposeAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working with a strong team of motivated engineers with a focus on building and delivering REST APIs and backend integration. You will interact with product owners and architects and convert their ideas into software solutions. You will mentor other talented engineers and encourage innovation in the team.You will also guide the team on development best practices and set examples by using them in the solutions you build. This position requires in-depth knowledge of OOPS, .Net Framework, .NET Core, C#, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Azure Cloud and GraphQL. You should have experience with agile methodologies, and working experience building scalable and robust user interfaces. Good to have experience in Python, React, and TypeScript.Main ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the complete product development cycle starting from analysis, architecture, design, coding, unit integration, and system testing of softwareUnderstand System Architecture and provide valuable inputs to continuously improveAbility to deliver the agreed modules in time, work with junior team membersEager to learn and adapt to dynamically changing environmentDesign, develop, and maintain the software solution based on the high-level product description or requirement documentMake a Software design at the module level that is highly reusable.Follow well-defined Design Patterns and practice SOLID principlesDocument work, software designs, code, and record and produce test reports.Participate in reviews of work done by peers and provide constructive feedback.Completely accountable for one\xe2\x80\x99s own work. Estimate, plan, organize one\xe2\x80\x99s own work and manage time efficiently.Responsible for deliveries within the required deadlines. Deliveries can be modules, documentation, customer releases, etc.,Plan, organize, and execute assignments with very little or moderate supervision.Be contemporary, by adopting technological and market evolution.Ensure team motivation and morale.Other responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time.Key Result AreaAccountability for assignments, timely delivery, and meeting or exceeding quality requirements.Skill Set4 to 6 years of professional experience in software product developmentStrong hands-on programming experience required in .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#, GraphQLGood knowledge of Web Security and authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID)Should have good experience in Unit TestingExperience with RDBMS and No SQL databasesSolid knowledge of RESTful interfaces / Microservice conceptsProficiency in object-oriented / functional programming modelGood knowledge of the Azure cloud platformGood exposure to Continuous integration tools, Cloud Deployments, and Scripting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of software architectures, software algorithms, and software engineering principlesExperience in the tools required in a development lifecycle: build, unit testing, version control, task and defect management, Agile development approachesCompare and contrast various solutions given a problem statementSelf-starter and Passionate to learn new technologies.Exposure in Dockers and Containerization.Good to haveExperience in Angular & NodeJsSelf-driven go-getterExperience in DataDogExperience in working on a large scale backend environmentQualifications & ExperienceB.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree.Supervisory ResponsibilityNAReporting ToTeam Leader or above.Job LocationChennai,India
