PuneOur NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on our new xe2x80x9cConnectxe2x80x9d platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ's data and insights to innovate and grow. Feeding data into the xe2x80x9cConnectxe2x80x9d platform are also a set of large scale applications that process millions of records of data every day.As an Engineer, you'll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now the platform for which we are hiring is based in Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Tom Cat, Oracle and we continue to adopt the best of breed in cloud-native, low-latency technologies. We value CI/CD in everything that we develop. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Chicago, Madrid, Toronto, Pune and Chennai.Responsibilities

• Write code to develop scalable, flexible applications
• Ensure the maintainability and quality of code
• Develop secure and highly performant services and APIs
• Proactively identify and suggest improvements / new technologies that can improve the platform in terms of speed, quality and cost

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1 to 3 years of software development experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and designing for performance, scalability and availability
• Good experience on Java, SpringBoot, Angular
• Good knowledge with SQL, Parquet, Hive
• Good experience in designing and building multithreaded distributed systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
