• messaging service experience using Kafka,
• very good experience with relational and non-relational database systems,
• solid knowledge using standard design and integration patterns, as well as development best practices,
• very good experience in working with systems based on microservices architecture,
• good experience with modern SDLC methodologies: QA and CI/CD pipelines, unit, component, contract, integration, contract, e2e and performance testing automation in microservices environments

Nice-to-have skills:

• Grafana, Sonar,
• Spring Integration,
• Docker and Kubernetes experience. Good knowledge about containers and pods development cycle administration,
• OpenShift Container Platform

What will your job look like?

• Design, develop, modify, debug and maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
• Participate actively in daily, refinement, planning and retrospective meetings within the team.
• Use of good practices and key patterns, assuring technical compliance with technical lead and software architect guidelines as well as project needs.
• Collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Support team members when required.
• Serve as the technical focal point with other teams to resolve issues related to interfacing functionalities.

Project where the position applies:Britebill product is able to integrate a wide variety of different billing systems to produce customisable bills for final customers, where customer information and behaviour is used to provide the right information at the right time. Bills produced with this product save literally millions to Telco Companies, as their customer don\xc2\xb4t need extra support, coming from call centers.Our product is used by several of the largest Telco companies in the world. Comcast, Sprint, AT&T, Vodafone, Rogers, just to mention some. Technically, it was born as a monolithic application and thank to its success, many new features have been added to support more and more customer needs.Not all our customers have the same needs. They don\xc2\xb4t need all the features our product is able to provide, but all of them need to scale and to provision the right resources according to their customers base. That\xc2\xb4s why we\xc2\xb4re addressing a migration to a microservice architecture.Our project consists on turning our monolithic application into a microservice environment and on top of that, to provide a SaaS solution to support smaller customers that don\xc2\xb4t need most of our features, but still could take advantage of the most basic ones.There\xc2\xb4ll be three teams working on that transformation and we\xc2\xb4re looking for a team lead for one of them.
