Introduction: This role is a hands-on engineering role within the Customer Identity & Access Management platform team. The Senior Software Engineer is a high-performing engineer who designs, builds and maintains a centralised, secure, scalable and efficient IAM platform to realise business benefits through simplification and enable revenue generation through building new capabilities to embed across all digital journeys. This role also requires leadership qualities in the form of coaching, collaboration, decision making and being a trusted advisor to ensure great outcomes are realised. What will you be doing?

• Collaborate in the design, development and implementation of a centralised secure, scalable and efficient IAM platform.
• Support the creation and maintenance of the technical roadmap for the evolution of the group wide IAM platform.
• Coach, collaborate and facilitate colleagues and engineers to design, build and maintain the platform, following agile software development principles.
• Ensure the highest levels of platform security and compliance.
• Optimise platform performance and efficiency.
• Provide feedback and action activities to mature and improve operations and processes within the team and more broadly across the function

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• In depth and extensive knowledge of building Instrument and Pricing Reference Data Platforms in Large Financial Services business
• In depth and extensive knowledge and experience in building with Goldensource Technology
• Experience in working in Large Sell Side or Buy Side Organizations as Team Lead for delivering Instrument and Pricing Reference Data
• Broad knowledge in various Instrument Asset Classes like Fixed Income, Equity, Funds and Derivatives
• Experience with acquiring, ingesting and publishing large Data Vendor Feeds like Bloomberg, Refinitiv Data Scope Plus etc.
• Proven ability to influence and manage across multiple teams and regions to deliver solutions to complex problems
• Ability to build strong relationships with the application technology owners who would be consumers of the Stargate application
• Excellent communication and relationship skills and strong stakeholder management
• Extensive working experience with JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-driven, Self-motivated, Disciplined and enthusiastic about owning the development and delivery of the technology platform.
• Extensive SDLC experience using Agile preferably SCRUM
• Needs to be a good team player working in a follow-the-sun model of development

• Ability to data analysis and create business requirements as needed
