Your role

Are you an experienced Test Engineer with a track record in software testing ensuring comprehensive functional coverage? Do you enjoy managing the day-to-day progress of multiple inter-linked SDLC activities? Do you want to play a key role in migration of functional test packs to Cucumber framework and in it\'s maintenance with ongoing functional changes?

We\'re looking for a Software Test Engineer to:

• Support the crew\'s strategic vision to reduce manual tests around F2B integration tests to automated packs where possible using variety of available tools - MxTest, Cucumber Framework.
• Identify & address gaps in the existing test suite; build optimized automation packs and migrate automation packs to run in CI pipelines.
• Constantly review the test coverage with functional changes, feature enhancements and production incidents, to ensure the test gaps are addressed, by working in close co-ordination with development teams.
• Manage senior stakeholders - primarily from different downstream applications which are real time as well EOD (risk/finance/accounting/collaterals); evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels to ensure transparency and engagement.
• Coordinate across the crew and vendor teams in delivering a successful large scale change programs like Murex Binary upgrade, Regulatory transitions, Integration tests, Finance and Risk UAT runs, Full Front-to-Back tests
• Perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, and maintain and monitor a risk management plan.

Your team

You\'ll be working in the Swaps Trade Capture and Lifecycle management crew in Pune focusing on the upcoming Murex Binary upgrade program and other test initiatives.

Your expertise

• 10-12 yrs. experience in software tests - functional, integration, automated and regression tests
• 3-4 years of automation experience, preferably using Mxtest or Cucumber
• Good understanding of capital markets industry specializing in Rates and Credits, OTCs
• Exposure to large scale Murex implementations within the financial services industry
• Team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on with CI / CD & relevant tools like gitlab, jenkins, etc
• Strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
