JOB SUMMARY:As a Software Engineer (Power Platform), you will play a key role in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate & Power BI, to architect scalable and efficient applications that align with business needs. Your expertise will extend to integrating Power Platform with other systems, ensuring data security, and guiding the development team in implementing best practices and industry standards.KEY RESPONSIBITLITIES:

• Solution Architecture: Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and solution architects to understand business requirements, define solution objectives, and create an architectural roadmap for Power Platform projects. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Integration and Data Management: Architect integrations between Power Platform and other enterprise systems, such as CRM systems, SAP ERP systems, databases, or REST endpoints. Define data management strategies, including data migration, transformation, and synchronization. Ensure data security, compliance, and governance.
• Solution Customization and Extension: Collaborate with other engineers to customize and extend Power Platform components, leveraging custom connectors, plugins, and other extension points. Define and enforce development standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and optimization opportunities within Power Platform solutions. Conduct performance testing and tuning to enhance application responsiveness and efficiency.
• Security and Access Control: Define and implement security models and access controls within Power Platform solutions, considering user roles, permissions, data sensitivity, and compliance requirements. Conduct security assessments and ensure adherence to industry best practices and organizational policies.
• Solution Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including solution design documents, architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and best practice guidelines. Establish governance processes and standards for Power Platform development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to align solution architecture with business objectives. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business terms.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, out of which at least 3+ years in Power Platform field.
• Extensive experience in designing and architecting solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform components, including canvas and model-driven app development, data integration, workflows, business rules, and UI customization.
• Proven experience in architecting enterprise-level integrations between Power Platform and other systems, such as CRM, ERP, databases, or custom applications.
• In-depth understanding of data management and security principles within Power Platform, including data migration, data synchronization, and access controls.
• Proficiency in performance optimization techniques, scalability considerations, and troubleshooting within Power Platform solutions.
• Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and security frameworks related to Power Platform development and deployment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with development teams and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with developing applications using SharePoint Online, Common Data Services, SQL servers, API\xe2\x80\x99s and other third-party data sources.
• Good understanding of ALM process and Azure DevOps process to manage complete lifecycle of the application.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
• Experience with Azure services and integration with Power Platform, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Azure Active Directory.
• Familiarity with advanced Power Platform concepts, such as AI Builder, custom connectors, custom APIs, and app lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of other related technologies, such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, MySQL, Azure DevOps or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
