Onbyz is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing dynamic websites, web applications, and innovative product solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to product development while also working on client-specific projects. The role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, leveraging modern technologies to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions.


Roles & Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain websites, web applications, and product platforms.
• Collaborate on product development initiatives, contributing to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities.
• Build front-end solutions using Next.js and React, focusing on user experience and performance.
• Develop back-end services using Node.js and manage databases such as MongoDB and MySQL.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional applications.
• Contribute to projects involving headless CMS solutions using WordPress and integrate its APIs for content delivery.
• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and application optimization for speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to maintain seamless functionality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in web and product development.


Required Skills:


• Proficiency in JavaScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, and modern development frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of databases like MongoDB and MySQL.
• Experience in building and integrating APIs (RESTful and GraphQL).
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with WordPress, headless CMS implementation, and integrating WordPress APIs into modern web applications is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in software or web development.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous web and product development projects.
