Role : Software Engineer / SME - Payments Switch
Location : Pune (Hybrid)
Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days



We are hiring for one of our clients in the Payments domain , based in Pune. The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience in software development with expertise in the payment domain .

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop solutions using Core Java , Spring Boot , and databases like Oracle , Postgres , MSSQL , etc.
• Design optimal solutions beyond scope and translate features into software design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer and domain requirements.
• Deliver high-quality, large-scale applications with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and discussions with customers and product teams.

Required Skills :

• Experience in EFT switch , ISO 8583 , ISO 20022 , and at least two payment schemes (e.g., VISA , Mastercard ).
• Proficiency with ATM terminal drivers (e.g., NCR, Diebold) and communication protocols ( NDC+, D912 ).
• Integration experience with hardware security modules (e.g., SafeNet , Thales ) and key management.
• Familiarity with SAFE Agile methodology, software estimation, and planning.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical design expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
