As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for improving scalability, performance,
resilience and security of the venture, through a combination of re-engineering and innovation.Responsibilities:
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with Product Management and other engineers in the company to understand user
requirements and application feature sets
\xe2\x97\x8f Collaboratively define test strategies for functional, integration and performance testing
of a distributed cloud-based product
\xe2\x97\x8f Develop and execute test plans, data sets and test configurations
\xe2\x97\x8f Track and report metrics of product quality
\xe2\x97\x8f Work effectively with managers and team members in other groups within the company
including Operations, Services and Development
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with Support as needed to resolve customer issues
\xe2\x97\x8f Verify defect fixes
\xe2\x97\x8f Clearly document your work
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in quality assurance engineering, preferably in testing a sophisticated web-
based business applicationQualifications:
\xe2\x97\x8f 2+ years of experience
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to write code in one or more programming languages like Java, Python,
Javascript etc to automate tests for the full solution stack (UI, App Layer, API, Web
Service, batch jobs, etc)
\xe2\x97\x8f Proven experience with functional, integration and regression testing
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with industry standard QA tools for defect tracking, and source control\xe2\x97\x8f Self-motivated and able to work independently
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong software configuration / integration testing and automation experience
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience working in Agile/Scrum models\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to critique work of self and others constructively
\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding and experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent troubleshooting skills, and ability to communicate detailed technical analysis
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent interpersonal, writing and problem solving skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Flexible, adaptable and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor degree, Master degree preferably in CS or related experience\xe2\x97\x8f Preference for experience with mapping tools and standards for GS1 EPCIS, X12 and EDIFACT\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with ERP Data formats such as SAP iDoc.
