:We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives.Job responsibilities

• Analysis and participate in discussions related to design, development and implementation of the new digital product origination, servicing and extending features on the chase personal and business banking (Web and Mobile) applications
• Coordinate work with the respective teams (Business, Development, Business Analysts, Automation team) for future tests and performance of Chase application and automation framework.
• Design and review project specifications, flow chart, process diagrams and system specifications and configure Maven for JAVA automation project develops Maven project object model (POM)
• Based on the new requirement develop the scripts for all the stories in Eclipse in Gherkin format to convert those into the automation format with required modifications
• Develop page object using Selenium web Driver, JAVA and create XPATH for local web elements for new business requirements and Firebug Tool to identify the Object\'s id, Name, link in the applications.
• Develop step definitions for BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) test using Cucumber, Karate, rest assured.
• Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems \xc2\xb7 Designing and testing automation equipment and processes \xc2\xb7 Programming new automated components.
• Design and implementation of Selenium Web Driver automation framework for smoke and regression test suites and check log files and analyze error during testing.
• Use Structured Query Language to perform data validation, this enables end to end testing from data elements to screen elements.
• Conduct daily weekly meeting with assigned project team members to the set the expectations and discus upcoming task and to ensure all the outstanding issue are being address, fixed, and retested.
• Generate the metrics for stories, test executions & defect reports by using JIRA standard metrics and customized dashboards to track the software quality.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience working with Selenium, Cucumber, Rest assures/Karate and True CD pipeline.
• Responsible for designing and developing high quality test scripts and solutions for functional testing scope using various tools like Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, Karate, etc. This will include designing and developing or enhancing existing scripts.
• Enhancing and maintaining automated Continuous Integration (CI) flows
• Experience with API test automation frameworks against well-known protocols (REST, SOAP, etc)
• Experience with UI test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc)
• Hands-on practical experience in automation application development skills as well as multiple design techniques

Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages. * Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life CyclePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
