Job summary:

As a Software Engineer III in the Credit team of the Corporate & Investment Banking business at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives.

Job responsibilities:

• Design/Develop test scripts (manual and automated) for the applications assigned for testing.
• Be able to understand the techno - functional requirement and design test scenarios/ test cases around it.
• Work with product owners to ensure test environments and test data are in the state required for testing.
• Be able to perform detailed functional as well as regression testing.
• Be responsible to handle multiple projects at the same time.
• Quick Learner, self-starter, be proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team\xe2\x80\x8b

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Minimum 4-6 years of Functional and Automation testing skills
• Good hands on experience with Java/Java script - selenium is must.
• Well versed with server side/API testing(Non GUI application, Application Server).
• Experience in designing and building BDD/Cucumber Test Automation Framework.
• Integrate Automation suite with DevOPs pipeline and maintenance.
• Good Experience in Agile methodology with Test Planning, Test case creation - execution and defect tracking.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Good knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Good to have knowledge in Playwright with Typescript/JavaScript is a plus
• Capable of conducting Functional and Regression test review sessions and provide tailored guidance to teams.
• Experience in assessing and assisting teams with Test frameworks design, documentation, management, and quality.
